Homework Expectations
7th and 8th grade students will have 2 - 2.5 hours of homework every night. There is math and reading homework every night. Students are expected to read 20 minutes every night. Writing, Science, Social Studies and Religion homework is spread out is such a way that they must work at least 45 minutes on these subjects. Occasionally there may be less homework.
Any homework that is turned in late will not be given full credit. After a week of the due date the assignment will not be accepted and no grade will be awarded for the work. So, ensure that your child turn in their work on time. If students complete all the assignments it is easy to maintain good grades. Good work habits are essential to students' acceptance and success at High Schools.
